Dear Valued Customers:
We are pleased to announce the acquisition of the assets of Epoxy Resin Innovators Corporation (DBA Delta Plastics Co.) by Specialty Polymers & Services, Inc. (SP&S) effective January 15, 2020. As of this date, Delta Plastic Co. will stop accepting new orders and SP&S will begin handling new customer orders and inquiries from Delta Plastic’s customers.
Delta Plastic Co. / Epoxy Resin Innovators Corporation was created by Eric A. Skiff and has more than 40 years of experience in the national and international adhesive, electronics, and coatings business. Delta Plastics developed the innovative Delcoat™ coatings, Bisfoamine™ epoxy structural foams, structural and conductive adhesives, many specialty epoxy encapsulants, and the unique Customcrete™ products. After a long career, Eric is retiring and wants to ensure that the customers he has built such productive relationships with continue to receive the same high level of service and support.
SP&S was founded in 2001 to provide distribution and specialty adhesive manufacturing services to a highly technical customer base. Both companies are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and support and so we believe that the incorporation of Delta Plastics Co.’s product line of epoxy adhesive, encapsulants, structural foams, and concrete admixtures into SP&S’ product offering will ensure even greater opportunities for our customers.
This acquisition will allow us to provide a wider array of products and services to Delta Plastic Co.’s customer base. The combined organization will provide the following enhancements:

All the current RTM processes for aircraft structures use one-component (1-K materials) systems, that are formulated and pre-mixed by the system provider, which required cold transportation and cold storage during its life-cycle. Because of shelf-life constraints, the reactivity of these 1-K material is limited, thus resulting in longer processing/curing times and lower productivity. This development will reduce the supply chain restrictions and costs driven by the usage of 1-K materials, while allowing the usage of faster systems, more tailored towards the end-user requirements.
Additional advantages of our technology vs. the current RTM 1-K set-up and other infusion techniques:
